First published in 1986 by Viking Penguin and edited by Jack Sullivan, The Penguin Encyclopedia of Horror and the Supernatural was a large-format illustrated reference book on writers, films, music, publishers, and themes relating to weird, ghostly, horror and supernatural fiction. Many of the contributors were actively involved in the world of horror as writers, critics, academics, or publishers, and some were also the subject of entries in the book itself.

I compiled this index of contributors, and the entries they wrote, as I wanted to see what my favourite writers had written about, without having to go through every page, hunting for their initials. I've put it here on my website in the hope someone else might find it useful or interesting, too.
