I’m very flattered to have been interviewed by the lovely people over at the the Television Crossover Universe podcast. This kicked off because of my poem, “Alice at R’lyeh”, which fits into the podcast’s theme (of discussing the way various TV, film, comic and other ‘universes’ link up), thanks to my mixing HP Lovecraft with Lewis Carroll, but the interview goes on to cover other poems and things I’ve done.
The podcast can be found at iTunes here, or via the TCU page. While you’re there, give a listen to some of the other episodes — I’m amazed at their knowledge of the ins and outs of so many universes. (Episode 12, where host Robert E. Wronski, Jr. is himself interviewed is a good starting point.)
Just listened to your interview. Great to hear you again, plus having a chance to listen to you talk about your work. Hope the book is doing well for you. I am enjoying my copy. That was a rather good idea about having a collection of your poetry work, at some point. Hope everything is going well, and REALLY looking forward to your next War Podcast with Garen. For now… 🙂 Cheers!
Thanks, Linda. We recorded the next War Films podcast on the same day as I was interviewed. Two podcasts in one day!
An excellent little interview – I learned stuff! I also had to go and re-read My Vampire Bride right away afterwards and I agree, it is a brilliant poem. (I think all your poems are, above anything else, entertaining – but often funny and thoughtful too).
Thanks!
